About RLS
Why Choose RLS

Why Landowners and Builders Call Us

We Own the Dirt

Two sand and dirt pits in southeast Fort Bend County. Select fill, bank sand and fill dirt come from our own ground, on our own trucks, when your schedule needs them.

Equipment With Real Weight

Our smallest excavators weigh 50,000 pounds. Ponds, pads, clearing and volume dirt work get machines sized for the job, backed by a fleet of tandem dump trucks.

Built for Volume Work

Hundreds of loads on one project is a normal week here. We run shifts around the clock when a deadline calls for it, and the job is priced from the site, not a phone guess.

Fort Bend County Roots

Fifteen years working this ground, most of it repeat and referral. We know what the coastal prairie clay does when it rains and what it takes to build on it.

What You Can Expect

How a Job With RLS Runs

From the first look at the ground to the last pass of the grade, here is exactly how it goes.

1

Look at the Land

We meet you at the property and read the job off the ground itself: what is growing, where water sits, how trucks and excavators get in. Big dirt work prices off what is really out there.

2

Firm Quote

You get a free quote with a real number and a real plan: what gets dug or cleared, how many loads move, where the dirt comes from or goes. It holds unless the scope changes.

3

Move the Dirt

The equipment shows up when we said. Excavators dig, trucks run in rotation, and on deadline jobs we run shifts around the clock until the volume is moved.

4

Finish to Grade

The last pass matters as much as the first load. Pads compacted and holding elevation, ponds shaped and ready for water, ground graded so it drains. We look at the finished work with you before we leave.

Select Fill & Dirt Sales

Buy Your Dirt From the Pit, Not a Broker.

Most fill dirt around Houston passes through a middleman before it reaches your site. Ours starts on our own ground. We dig select fill, bank sand and fill dirt from two pits in southeast Fort Bend County and deliver it on our own tandem trucks, one load or several hundred. Builders get material that meets the pad spec. Ranchers get dirt for dams, roads and low spots. Everybody gets a shorter chain between the pit and the project.

FAQ

Questions Landowners Ask Us

The questions Fort Bend County property owners and builders ask most. If yours is not here, call and ask it. The person answering runs the equipment.

Call (281) 750-6510

What areas do you serve?
We work out of Needville and cover the country southwest of Houston: Richmond, Rosharon, Guy, Damon, Boling, Lane City, Wharton, El Campo, Blessing and Lake Jackson, across Fort Bend, Brazoria, Wharton and Matagorda Counties. If your property sits anywhere in that stretch, call us.
What services do you offer?
Excavation and everything around it: select fill and dirt sales from our own pits, land clearing, ponds and lakes, dirt work and grading, site prep and building pads, ranch roads, and dump truck hauling. If the job needs big excavators and a line of dump trucks, it is our kind of work.
Is there a minimum job size?
Yes. Most projects we take start around $10,000. Our equipment is sized for acreage, ponds, pads and volume dirt work, and small backyard jobs cost more than they should with machines this size. Dirt and sand from our pits sell by the truckload, and we are set up for multi-load orders.
Do you sell dirt directly?
We do. We own two sand and dirt pits in southeast Fort Bend County and sell select fill, fill dirt, bank sand and sandy loam by the truckload, delivered on our own trucks. Buying from the pit owner cuts out the broker layer, and the material is there when your schedule needs it.
How do estimates work?
They are free, and for project work they happen at the property. Dirt jobs price off things a phone call cannot show: how the ground lies, what is growing on it, how trucks get in and out. We look at the site, talk through what you want the land to do, and put a firm number on the actual job.
How fast can you move on a big job?
Fast. We are open around the clock, and on volume work we will run shifts so the dirt keeps moving. Hundreds of loads on one project is normal for us. Tell us your deadline when you call and we will build the schedule around it.
What kind of customers do you work with?
Ranch owners wanting ponds, roads and cleared pasture. Builders and developers who need select fill, pads and site prep. Homeowners with acreage. Commercial and industrial projects, including utility-scale solar sites and a recent data center job near Blessing. Fifteen years of this work, most of it repeat and referral.
How do I get started?
Call (281) 750-6510 or send the form on this site. Tell us where the property is and what you want done, and we will set a time to look at it. Quotes are free, and you deal with the family that owns the equipment.
